Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Bayu website, why we use them, and how you can manage or remove them. We want to be clear and straightforward about this — no unnecessary jargon.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves onto your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly and to give owners basic information about how their site is being used.
Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or access files on your device. They simply store small pieces of text — such as a preference setting or a session identifier — that the website can read on your next visit.
They keep you logged in
Session cookies remember your visit so you don't have to repeat actions on every page.
They help us improve
Analytics cookies tell us which pages are popular so we can make the site more useful.
They remember preferences
Preference cookies store settings like language or display choices between visits.
Cookies We Use
Manage Your Preferences
Use the toggles above or the buttons below to set your cookie preferences. Your choices are saved to your browser and will apply on your next visit too.
Choose which optional cookie categories you allow. Essential cookies are always active and cannot be turned off.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services we use. We do not control how these third parties use data collected through their cookies. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies directly.
Google Analytics
Measures site traffic and user behaviour in aggregate. Data is processed under Google's privacy framework.
Meta Pixel
Helps us understand if visitors who clicked a Facebook or Instagram ad went on to enquire. Only active if marketing cookies are enabled.
Microsoft Clarity / Bing
Used for Bing Ads conversion tracking. Only active if marketing cookies are enabled.
Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
These exist only while your browser is open. As soon as you close the browser tab or window, session cookies are deleted automatically. They are used for things like keeping your place during a visit.
Persistent Cookies
These remain on your device after the browser is closed, up to a set expiry date. They help us remember your preferences on return visits. Most of ours expire within 12 months; analytics cookies may last up to 24 months.
